CORDURA®is a perfect strength Nylon developed by DuPont in the United States during World War II. It was originally used by the military in tire manufacturing; we use the special Nylon yarn manufactured by INVISTA's brand CORDURA®, only greiges made by this special Nylon yarn can be called CORDURA® . CORDURA® is engineered with Nylon 6.6 Air Textured yarns. Greige is durable and with excellent abrasion resistance and excellent tear strength. Styled for a wide variety of apparel including outdoor endurance sports (climbing, cycling, skiing) wears, work wears, bags, luggages and backpacks, military equipment, mountaineering wears and protective outerwear such as motorcycle wears. Also used in garment reinforcement applications. CORDURA® is designated by many brands around the world, the greiges are widely used.
